Tips to Successful Office Meeting Catering

This week, the entire Seamless Corporate team from across the U.S. and London joined together in our NY office for our mid-year meeting. Twice a year, we gather to cover important updates, receive training, and of course bond with our colleagues. Here at Seamless, all of the above requires office food catering and fun.

So, we practiced what we preached and made sure the team was well fed. Here’s a look at our mid-year office meeting catering menus:

Breakfast – The most important meal of the day! Ever wished you could have just a smidgen of a bagel? Well, Bantam Bagels has you covered with their bagel balls.

Bantam Bagels

We did not want to deprive anyone from an entire bagel either, so a full catered breakfast arrived from Zucker’s Bagel (but you can get this spread from any deli) and included:

  • An assortment of bagels with tomatoes, onions, cucumbers, and cream cheese options
  • Fresh fruit with choice of creating a parfait with yogurt and granola
  • Hard boiled eggs
  • Coffee, OJ, and Tea

Lunch – A group order, of course! With different interests and dietary needs, a group order allowed us to offer something for everyone.

Restaurants included Butcher’s Block, Pita Grill, and Lenny’s Sandwich Shop

Team Group order

We started our meeting 12pm sharp, so we were excited to see all the orders arrived a few minutes before noon, so we could get set-up for the group. All our team members entered the room, picked up their lunch, and sat down to start the meeting.

Dinner – Team Bonding Event! Though we are all delivery food addicts, it never hurts to get some experience in the kitchen. Rustico Cooking hosted us in a team cooking event which concluded with a lovely sit-down meal we had prepared together. While waiting for the meal to be ready, teams engaged in some friendly food trivia competition.

Team Bonding Event

It’s no surprise that food brings team members together, especially when it’s an event a little bit out of the ordinary. It doesn’t have to be a cooking class, you can host a special event right inside your office such as picnic themed catered lunch or ordering tasty popsicles and ice cream to cool off this summer.

Our three days together went by very quickly, but our combined mind power meant a lot of new ideas of how to better serve our corporate clients. Stay tuned to see these ideas in action!
