How Seamless Started
Seamless was founded in 1999 by two lawyers in New York City who were frustrated by the hassles of ordering food into the office. From outdated paper menus and inaccurate orders to burdensome expense reports and long waits for reimbursement, these hassles were costing their firm significant time and money. So they set about creating an ordering and billing service that would link companies and their hungry employees to great local restaurants, streamlining the entire process. The name “Seamless” was coined to reflect the efficiencies the service would bring to the ordering, billing, accounting, and reimbursement process.
